Proverbs 8:35 says, “For whoever finds me (Wisdom) finds life and receives favor from the LORD.” I am still seeking!

Joseph’s descendants approached Joshua as the Promised Land was being divided up, and complained that they were not receiving a large enough lot. His answer spoke to me and my tendency to whine in my discontent about my portion or the overwhelming appearance of my obstacles.

But Joshua said to the house of Joseph—to Ephraim and Manasseh—“You are numerous and very powerful. You will have not only one allotment but the forested hill country as well. Clear it, and its farthest limits will be yours; though the Canaanites have iron chariots and though they are strong, you can drive them out.” (Joshua 17:17-18)

God will give me enough, and He will continue to be with me even when it looks difficult. I have to push forward, trusting Him to clear my path, even of the iron chariots and mountainous terrain!
