Today, I was surprised with a Father’s Day weekend visit from my daughter, home from school in Georgia. We went out for lunch to my favorite (routine) place, and to a movie, where she let me beat her at air-hockey in the arcade a few times before the show.

We grocery shopped and cooked dinner together, and it was a good opportunity to demonstrate healthy eating, after a lifetime of demonstrating the harmful habits I had her whole life in my house. I consider it sort of a “living” amends.
